Cameron talks about #JMID and filming with the cast - BTS Sundance 2014

Cameron: "Basically the way we've filmed this movie was in upstate New York in the middle of a January/February.. freezing cold.. we are in a very very very small town there is nothing for miles around so every day with you for 16 hours than we would go back we at all be with each other because there was nothing else to do, we had to be! but it was great we became very close very fast and I think it kinda helped with the the movie as well. I think calling this movie a scary movie might be a bit of a misnomer. It has some elements of horror and it certainly is frightening and unsettling in a way.. it's more reminiscent to say the shining than a slasher but at the same time um, yeah no, it's absolutely..uhm, this movie has lighter elements of comedy and friendship and all that but it's a heavy drama and we also have the horror elements and that's tough to act, you know..."
